It was a great weekend up in Bundaberg.
Friday was Cane Country's regular club night with Matthew Mills calling.
We had a very productive QCA meeting on Saturday morning.
5 callers in attendance on site and 3 more on Zoom - quorum achieved, so decisions could be made. A very nice lunch was provided.
A good attendance for the afternoon Plus dance with Matthew Mills, Alan Evans, Elaine Davis and myself calling - 2 squares dancing.
The same callers for the evening dance - SSD & Mainstream with 3 squares dancing. Dancers came from far and wide - Obviously Bundaberg, then Hervey Bay, Brisbane area, Caboolture area, Northern Rivers N.S.W. - lots of smiles and laughter. Great to meet and dance with so many of Bundaberg's newer dancers.
Thanks to Matthew and Anita Mills and the Cane Country Square Dance Club for hosting the QCA for the weekend - we'd love to do it again. I saw cameras going all weekend, I hope someone will post some pictures, so I can add them here - I was too busy dancing.
